Hi there! My name is Zuma, and I’m an 8-month-old Goldendoodle with 50 pounds of sunshine, silliness, and snuggles packed into one fluffy body. I’m a playful, gentle soul who absolutely lives for walks, belly rubs, and balls. I love being around my people, but I’m also perfectly happy entertaining myself with a tennis ball when you’re busy. I’m the kind of pup who brings joy just by being around—happy, curious, and always ready for the next adventure (or nap).
I get along really well with other dogs and think playtime is the best time! I’m generally quiet and sweet, but I will alert you to suspicious things like birds, neighbors, or mysterious shadow creatures. The outdoors is my happy place—sniffing is my superpower, and when I get extra bored, well... sometimes I dig. (I’m working on that.)
I’m crate trained, potty trained, and very well-mannered when it comes to doing my business outside—I like to keep things efficient so I can get back to exploring! I eat twice a day and am pretty routine about when I need to go outside. I know a few tricks too—“sit,” “down,” and “shake” are my specialties. I’m still practicing things like leash walking, “come here,” and resisting the urge to pick up random stuff or dig up the yard when I’ve got extra energy. But I’m learning every day, and I do know what “no” means.
Loud, sudden noises can startle me, even ones I accidentally make myself (I once scared myself by dropping my bone). I’m not a fan of big, booming TVs either—so the media room? Yeah, not my scene. But give me a place to lay, a tennis ball to chew, and someone kind to share a quiet moment with, and I’ll show you just how sweet, silly, and lovable I really am.
If you’re looking for a loyal friend with a heart full of love and a nose always on the move, I just might be your girl.
