Hi, I’m Zadie. I’m 16 months old, an 11-pound mini golden doodle, and I’m a little shy, very gentle, and all sugar once I feel safe.

I’m still learning how amazing humans are, but I warm up quickly with patience and kindness. My foster family loves to say, “I’m just a baby,” and that usually means extra cuddles—which I happily accept. Once I trust you, I’m a total cuddle bug who loves being close on the couch or snuggled up at bedtime.

My happy place is the backyard, especially with a doggie door. In and out, in and out… all day long. I love zoomies, sunshine naps, and playing fetch forever—tennis balls are my favorite. Squeaky and crinkly toys make me very happy, and I have a funny habit of arranging my toys in a little circle before picking one to play with next.

I’m a sweet mix of calm companion and playful goofball. I can be timid with new people and don’t do well with pushy or dominant dogs, but I adore gentle humans and kind, playful pups. I’d be great with a patient dog sibling or as your one-and-only.

I tolerate a crate, but I’d much rather sleep near you. I’m still learning leash skills and prefer backyard adventures for now. I don’t jump on furniture yet—I politely ask for help with my paws. I’m potty trained with a doggie door and will need help adjusting if my new home doesn’t have one.

I have a beautiful coat that needs regular brushing to stay fluffy. I’m soft, sensitive, and full of love, just waiting for the right home to help me keep growing brave.
