Wylie‘s Story

Hi! My name is Wylie, and I'm a 17-pound Labradoodle puppy. Im the funniest, spunkiest, cuddliest ball of love! Wherever my people are, I want to be right underfoot or even better, in a lap. I am a great snuggler. I love to play with my toys. Chasing tennis balls is one of my favorite things to do! And I'm so good with kids. I am really gentle with them. I like to go on walks a whole lot and get excited when I see my leash!

My foster mom is so proud of me. I haven't eaten any shoes or rugs or anything I shouldn't, even though the kids in my foster house sometimes leave tempting things laying around. I just have to be told something isn't a chew toy and I leave it alone! I do like to pick up loose socks laying around and play with them, but who can blame me for not being able to ignore stinky socks??

I'm almost 100% potty trained. I rarely have accidents and if I do it is because my silly foster family didn't notice me go to the back door! I'm a great sleeper, as long as you put my kennel in a room with one of my people, I'll happily go in for the night. But nighttime is the only time I like the kennel. I don't like it during the day. In fact, if my family has to leave me, I get really anxious and sad. When they come home, I've drooled a ton (nervous habit!) So I would probably do really well in a home that has someone who stays or works from home during the day.

I really love my foster dog sister and like playing with her a lot. I've never met a cat so I'm not sure how I feel about them. I am still learning not to jump up to get attention, but my foster Mom says I'm really, really smart so I'll get it down. I'm a little skittish when someone new comes around (especially big, tall men like my foster dad!) but once I get to know someone, I'm gonna be their best friend.

My foster Mom says I am a really easy puppy. I make her laugh and bring lots of joy to the house, and I can't wait to meet my fur-ever family!!
