Howdy! I’m Wilmer—a 1-2-year-old, 50-pound male Adoradoodle (yep, as cute as it sounds!).

I might come off a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m just a big softie waiting to feel safe. Once I know you’re my person, I’ll stick to you like peanut butter to a spoon. I’m gentle, calm, and happiest just being near the ones I love. I don’t jump or beg, but if you’ve got a treat in hand? I’m all ears. I’m smart, eager to learn, and always up for a snack-based lesson.

I sleep like a dream and adapt easily to your routine. I’m crate trained (and love having the door open so I can come and go), but I’d much rather snooze on a cozy bed near you. My mornings start with some backyard squirrel patrol, a potty break, and then breakfast. After that, I mostly chill, explore, nap, and follow my foster around—nothing too crazy, just enjoying the day.

I’m already potty trained and well-mannered indoors, which I'm pretty proud of! I’m still working on leash confidence—new places and sudden sounds make me a little nervous—but I’m getting better every day with gentle encouragement and support.

I’d love a calm home with a yard, maybe another confident dog to show me the ropes. Older kids are great, but younger ones might be a little overwhelming for me right now. What I want most is to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. If you’ve got patience, kindness, and maybe a few treats in your pocket, I promise to be the most loyal friend you could ask for.

- Fenced in Yard
