Hi, my name is Trooper and I’m a handsome 4.5-year-old Male Standard Poodle and weigh 55lbs.

I love my people and especially love to see them when they come home after a day away. Sometimes I am so excited and want to hug, and since I don't realize how big I am, I might need some more training for that. I also think I’m a lap dog, so get ready for lots of snuggle time! Not to worry, I can learn new manners with you!

I’m house trained and haven’t ever had an accident, go me! I wake up with my foster sibling most days at 6:45 all ready to go outside. After that I’ll come in and eat my breakfast in a slow feeder to ensure I don't gobble too quick. Then it’s time to play, after my foster sibling goes to school, my foster mom takes me for a quick walk around the block to stretch these long legs. I like to stare out the window, chase the cats and snooze till everyone gets back home. Then it’s time for another walk and lots of playtime!

I’m definitely interested in everything on the counter so make sure you pick up anything you don’t want me to eat, because even if you think I can't reach it, I sure can! I like my humans, but can get a bit scared when new people come to the house and tend to bark, however, I am not aggressive, and come around quick. I'm just a happy-go-lucky kinda guy and wait, the best part is .... stairs! Foster mom tells I should take them one by one but I rather leap over all of them, so if my new home has stairs, you’re going to have to convince me otherwise. I can't wait to meet my fur-ever family!

- No Small Children Under 6
- Active family with patience and time for training
