Hi, I’m Travis—a 16-pound poodle mix with a soft coat, a gentle heart, and a serious talent for snuggling. I’m about five years old, which means I’ve outgrown the puppy chaos but kept all the good parts like playfulness, curiosity, and my signature little skip-hop when I get excited. My right leg likes to add a bit of flair to my moves, but don’t worry—it doesn’t slow me down one bit.

If you’re looking for a cuddle expert, I’m your guy. I love leaning into my humans, sitting on their feet, and soaking up massages like it’s my full-time job. Being close to you is my favorite place to be. I also happen to be very passionate about food. Breakfast and dinner are the highlights of my day, and I approach every meal with great enthusiasm.

I’m more of a “small circle” kind of dog. I do best with pups my size, and larger dogs can feel overwhelming for me. My foster family thinks I may have had some tough experiences in the past, so I can get nervous or reactive around bigger dogs, especially when I’m feeling protective of my space or my people. With dogs closer to my size, I’m much more comfortable and relaxed.

Right now, I’m taking things slow and steady while I recover from heartworm treatment. That means crate rest and short leash potty breaks only, but I dream about the day I can go on walks, play with toys, and explore the world by your side.

For now, my days are filled with quiet moments—watching my dog friends from a cozy spot, enjoying head pats, and resting up so I can come back stronger. I’m looking for a calm, patient home that understands I may need a little time and guidance as I settle in. In return, I promise to be the most loyal, loving little companion you could ask for.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Dog sibling, if present, must be 20 pounds or under
- Children over age 10
- Experienced dog owner preferred
- Flexible schedule or someone home often
- Patience to help me continue building confidence and adjusting to a new environment
