Hi, I'm Tipsy, I'm a 2-year-old, 41-pound Doodle mix with a goofy personality, a big heart, and lots of love to give. I'm still a puppy at heart!!!
I'm a playful, energetic girl who loves people, other dogs, and being part of the action. Whether I'm zooming around the backyard, collecting toys, or encouraging my foster siblings to play, I always find a way to entertain myself! I don't always realize how big I am, so I'm still learning about personal space. Underneath all that silliness, I'm a gentle, affectionate girl who loves cuddling up beside my humans for pets and scratches.
My mornings start with backyard zoomies before breakfast around 8 AM. I love my midday treat, and after dinner around 5 PM, I'm usually ready for evening snuggles!
I'm potty trained and know how to use a doggy door! I can sit for treats and lie down when you point to the floor and say "down." I'm still learning leash manners and can be difficult to handle on walks, so I'll need patient, consistent training. I can also be timid in new situations and may need extra time to feel comfortable.
I absolutely love other dogs and need a playful, high-energy canine sibling. I'm also getting acquainted with my foster family's cat! I'm curious and sometimes bark or make silly snapping motions in the air when trying to play, but I haven't shown aggression. I'll need proper introductions to any feline friends.
I'm a sweetheart, but my excitement sometimes gets the best of me! I jump up for attention and can accidentally bump into people during playtime. While I've done well around a teenager, I haven't had much experience with younger children. Because of my size and enthusiasm, a home without children under 8 will be the safest fit.
I love being close to my people and can get anxious when left alone. Crating is especially difficult for me, so I'd do best with someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. I'll need help building confidence and independence, along with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued training.
