My name is Tia, and I am a two-year-old terrier mix weighing in at a plump and adorable 21 pounds. I am a girl with a lot of love to give, and I am ready to give all of it to you.

My favorite things in the whole world are my people and my meals, and honestly it is hard to say which one I love more. When my people come home or let me out of my kennel in the morning, I get so excited that I tear through the house like a round, furry little bullet. I am a world-class snuggler and I love being held like a baby, getting brushed, and earning treats. I also take my couch spot and my food bowl very seriously, so those are mine, just so we know where we stand.

My mornings start around six when I bolt outside for my potty break, do a little sniffing around, and then come back in for the most important meal of the day. After breakfast I play with my dog sister and foster brother before settling in to supervise the foster dad working at his computer and bark at the occasional delivery person. Most of my day is a peaceful mix of lounging and light security work. Evenings are my favorite because that is when dinner happens and the house fills up with people who want to give me attention.

I am still figuring out leash walking, and I tend to wander and stop to smell absolutely everything along the way. I may also bark a bit at other dogs or people we pass, so a little patience on walks goes a long way. The doggy door remains a complete mystery to me, so I will need a helping hand with that one. With some time and consistency I know I will get there.
