Hi! My name is Thelma. I am a 52 lb Female Poodle. I am the sweetest girl you will ever meet. I don't shed at all but I will need regular grooming since I am a poodle and have luxurious perfect curls when my hair is grown out.

I am very shy and timid at first but am the most loving girl once I get to know you. My foster mom calls me velcro since I am always by her side and need constant attention and reassurance. Loud and new sounds tend to startle me but my foster brother helps reassure me. I play well with my big rambunctious foster brother but would prefer a calmer dog sibling. I don't bark like a typical dog and it sounds more like coughing, so I don't have a loud voice.

I typically wake up with my foster parents around 7AM but will also sleep in. I love the doggie door and use it frequently. I am pretty laid back and will nap most of the day with him or by my foster dad's side. I am not a fan of the crate but will very reluctantly go in and settle down after a few minutes. I like sleeping on the couch much better! I also love cuddling with my humans too - it's my favorite thing.

My foster mom says I have no concept of personal space and I jump up quite a bit when I am excited. I do not like getting my pretty paws wet and do not like wet grass. I will be the perfect dog with consistent and gentle training. I am very treat motivated and a quick learner.

- No children under age 14 (jumping and needs a quieter/calmer house)
- Fenced Yard
- WFH
