Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.
We are the Chocolate Poodle Puppies, Moose, Pax, and Lilly. We are 5-month-old Standard Poodles weighing about 35-45lbs. We don’t shed and are bundles of love and fluff!
Pax (M)
I’m Pax. I’m quickly learning how to love and be loved, and I can’t wait to give my fur-ever family all the puppy snuggles! My foster family says that I’m calm, yet I can be vocal at times! While I love to play with my foster siblings, I really just want calm space to hang out with my humans and other fur friends. I’m a people pleaser at heart and just want to make everyone happy.
I wake and jump into bed to give my foster parents good morning snuggles! I enjoy a light morning snack and spend the rest of the day napping and hanging out with the humans while they work. After work, all bets are off, and I make sure to get all the puppy zoomies out. At night, my foster humans let me sleep in the bedroom, but I’m also happy to sleep in my crate, if preferred.
I’m beginning to grasp my basic commands, and with continued work, I’ll be a pro in no time! My leash training is going well, but I often try to chase the leaves and get distracted by unfamiliar sights and smells. Cars generally make me feel sick, so I’d really prefer to keep my four paws on the ground unless I’m going around the block to a dog park or to the vet for a check-up!
Moose (M)
I’m Moose, I love all dogs and humans. I love to go outside to play, chew on a stick or take a walk. I also enjoy down time with humans to cuddle and get lots of belly rubs. I don’t enjoy thunderstorms. I start my day at 6:30am, go potty, then breakfast. After I like going outside to chase squirrels and play. My day is filled with playtime, naps, a walk and if I’m lucky a ride in the car to pick up humans from school. I then have dinner around 5:30pm and in my crate by 10pm for bed. I am a good sleeper in my crate and also stay there when my humans aren’t home.
I’m still working on basic commands and not running out the door when it’s open. I’ve got potty training and crate training down.
Lilly 2 (F)
I’m Lilly, your typical smarty-pants poodle. I love learning tricks and am very food motivated! I also like to try and outsmart my foster parents when they hide my treats or sticks, I bring inside. I am very curious and love to explore, play, eat, and cuddle.
Now that I am older, I can make it through the night without any potty accidents but I need to go outside as soon as I am up, usually around 7am. I eat breakfast then it's right back outside for my next potty break! I like to have a chew bone and play for a while, then naps. I like to sit on the couch next to my foster mom, or lay on my back sprawled out on the floor. I love going for walks and am learning to not pull. I bark a little at other dogs but I am very dog and people friendly. Nights are pretty low key, I may play a little before bed time, where I prefer to sleep next to my foster parent's bed. I love to cuddle if you'll allow me up too!
Since I am still a puppy, I need reinforcements with potty training, proper leash walking, and learning what and what not to chew on. I get on my hind legs so I stand up to see what’s on the counters, and to get closer to my people, so you could say I jump up a lot. I am just a super sweet girl and can't wait to share my love with you!
