Hi! I’m Thad, but you can call me Teddy. I’m a 3yr old Male Poodle mix with White/Red curly hair and weigh 45lbs.

I have so much energy and love to give! I did have a rough start before I joined Doodle Rock Rescue but I have made so much progress. In fact, I was the lucky recipient of a board and train session with All Dogs Unleashed (DRR was gifted) and recently went for 2 weeks. I have learned new manners and basic commands, wait until you see my new skills! I’m a very sweet & playful boy and LOVE to play with my foster brother & sister. I’m always pouncing on them and stealing their toys. I love to play! I have a lot of energy but do settle down.

I start my day when my foster mom wakes up around 6:30am. She lets us outside to potty and gives me a treat when I come in and sit. I get 1 cup of food in the morning and evening from a slow feeder as I’m working on slowing down to eat. During the day you can find me napping under my foster mom’s desk. I am truly very chill during the day when she is working. We go out to potty around lunchtime and then back to work until the end of the day. I wasn’t in the house a lot before so I’m still learning what is mine and what isn’t. I’m off to bed around 10pm, sometimes with my foster mom if I’ve been really, really good! Cuddling and belly rubs are amazing.

I can’t wait to meet my fur-ever family, with patience and love… I will thrive in your home!

Adoption Requirements:
-Active Household
-Children OK with proper introduction
-Stay-at-home parent is ideal
-Must have another active Dog so I can follow their lead
-Fenced Yard
-No Cats or other small animals
-Patience for continued training based on my learnings
