Hi there, future family! My name is Taylormade (yes, just like the golf brand), and I’m a handsome 1-year-old Poodle mix weighing 55 pounds. I like to think I’m the total package: good looks, great manners, a love for learning, and a heart full of affection. If you’re looking for the kind of dog that quickly becomes everyone’s favorite, I’m ready to earn that title in your home.

One of my favorite things in the world is spending time with my people. I absolutely love cuddling on the couch for a movie marathon, but I’m just as happy heading out for a walk or exploring somewhere new. Every dog I meet is an instant friend, and I greet them with plenty of tail wags and excitement. I adore people, too, including children, and my foster family says I’m calm, gentle, and polite when meeting new friends. I’m eager to please and pick up new skills quickly, which makes training a lot of fun for both of us.

During the week, I’m a great workday companion. I stay quietly in my crate while my foster mom is at work, enjoy a lunchtime potty break, and then look forward to our long evening walks together. On weekends, you can usually find me cuddling, playing outside, or working on enrichment activities, which are some of my favorite ways to keep my smart doodle brain busy. I also love tagging along on adventures and am always happy to visit coffee shops, restaurant patios, and other dog-friendly places.

I’m already potty trained on a schedule and know commands like sit, stay, and crate. I’ve nearly mastered down, spin, shake, and waiting at thresholds, too. I walk nicely on a leash, although squirrels and cats can still be a little distracting for me. While I enjoy having a dog friend around and learn a lot by watching them, I’ve also shown that I can settle in successfully as an only dog.

My ideal home will have a secure fenced yard or a family committed to giving me daily walks and exercise. I’d love a family with a flexible schedule that can continue helping me build confidence and learn new things. If I’m the only dog in the home, I’ll benefit from a little extra patience and guidance as I continue my training journey. Most of all, I’m looking for a family that will include me in their adventures, introduce me to the big world around me, and give me all the love I’m so excited to return.
