Hi, I’m Tarzan, but I much prefer the name Tucker! I may be a little guy—just 40 pounds of pure love—and I’m likely a Labradoodle mix, but my heart is as big as any dog’s. Even though I’m just over a year old, I’m still considered a puppy at heart! 💖🐾

I’m a mix of cuteness, energy, and good manners. My favorite things in the world are toys and balls. I absolutely love chasing balls and if I could spend all day doing it I would be one happy pup! If I’m not playing, you can find me curling up for a nap at my foster’s feet. Not to brag, but I am a great cuddle buddy. I just love being close to my people. I’m also learning some new tricks like waiting for my face to be wiped after I take a drink of water (sometimes I get messy) and waiting for my paws to be cleaned when I come inside from the rain. Sometimes I forget, but if there is a treat involved, I’ll give you my full attention.

At night, I sleep in my cozy crate with a blanket and a few of my favorite toys. It’s my safe space and I am totally comfortable there. I’ll happily go into my crate during the day if needed, but I would much rather just curl up at your feet while you work.

I am still practicing how to politely walk on a leash. I just get so excited to be outside that I pull and bark, but I’m getting better with every walk and soon enough I’ll be a great walking companion. Practice makes perfect and with time I will do great.

I am also learning all the basic commands (sit, down, wait, drop etc) so I will need someone to continue my training. I’m very smart so I’ve already learned a lot but could use more practice.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be the only dog or have a compatible sibling with proper introductions
- No young children (may accidentally knock them over)
- Active, engaged family
- No apartments or shared walls
- Fenced-in yard
- Ideally a work-from-home parent or someone with a flexible schedule to meet needs
- Patience and time for continued training
