Hi there, I’m Tansy! I’m a 9–12-month-old Goldendoodle with a coat as soft as a cloud and a personality that’s equal parts goofy and sweet. At about 36 pounds, I’m still growing into myself, but one thing is certain — I’m happiest when I’m close to my people.

I’ve got a playful, bouncy side and a gentle, snuggly side, but I’m still learning how to feel confident in the big wide world. Having another dog around really helps me feel secure and shows me the ropes, so a furry sibling is a must for me. I also do best with older, gentle kids who can give me the patience I need while I warm up — loud noises or fast movements can be a little overwhelming.

Because I’ll need plenty of space to play once I finish my heartworm treatment, apartment living just isn’t the right fit. I’d love a fenced yard where I can zoom safely and an active family who will enjoy adventures with me once I’m cleared. For now, I’m taking it easy, but trust me — I’ll be your best walking buddy in no time.

I’m a smart girl who already knows “sit” and “kennel,” and I’m working hard on potty training and leash skills. I sometimes need extra breaks because of my medication, so a flexible schedule will help me succeed. Most of all, I need a patient, loving home that understands shy dogs bloom beautifully with time.

Dogs like me don’t come with all the answers — but we come with endless potential. If you’re an experienced dog owner who knows that love is often built through quiet patience and small wins, the bond we’ll create will be unlike any other. Giving me a chance means watching a shy soul slowly unfold and knowing you made that happen — not in big, flashy ways, but in the everyday moments that matter most.
