Hi I’m Sunny, the best 8 month old Male Standard Poodle you will ever meet. I weigh 46 lbs right now, but I’m still growing some. I hope you like brushing, cause I need a lot of it or my coat will matte.

My foster parents say I am super smart. It does not take me long to pick up on things, and I know when to let you know that I need something, so I need a family that will keep my brain busy and teach me lots of cool tricks. I also love going on long walks and playing chase with other smaller dogs, I have to get all my puppy energy out. I like humans of all sizes, but I sometimes need a slow introduction. I have met a couple of cats, but I just don’t get them. So far I haven’t found anything that I don’t like, except maybe bigger dogs. They intimidate me. I truly love humans the most.

My foster Mom takes me out around 8am. Then I get all my food and graze throughout the day. I also ring a bell to let them know when I need to go out to potty. We go for walks and play with my toys, then I go out for my last potty around 9:30-10pm and then go to bed. I am crate trained, but I’m so good that I sleep on my own bed on the floor next to Mom.

I'm still working on getting into my crate willingly. I’m fine when I’m in there, and I’ll even go chill in there sometimes, but when you leave you have to coax me gently. I also love to eat tissues and napkins, but I’m told that’s not good for me. I just can’t help myself. I also need frequent brushing to keep my fur from matting, but I’m not a huge fan.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Another small dog sibling might be nice, but not required
- Active family
- Continue brain stimulation training
