Hi there, I'm Rye — a 2-year-old, 11.2 lb poodle mix with a heart full of love and a talent for being the best little shadow. My foster mom says I’m chill as can be and the ultimate sidekick. I adore going for walks, hopping in the car for adventures, and gazing out the window like a tiny neighborhood watch captain (don’t worry — I’ve got eyes on those squirrels). I don’t bark much, but I do have a cool party trick: I balance on my front legs when I potty — freaked my foster mom out at first, but hey, I’ve got skills! I love my buddy Rosie, and we play like we’ve known each other forever. Two small pups, one big friendship.

I’m a go-with-the-flow kind of guy and usually wake up when you do. After a quick potty break, it’s breakfast time, followed by my favorite thing ever — a walk! I walk great on a leash and love tagging along as my foster mom gets ready for the day. You’ll often find me perched by the window with my toys, supervising the block. I’ll ring the bells when I need to go out, and if I’m feeling snacky, I’ll give my food bowl a polite tap. Dinner’s around 4 or 5, another walk follows, and then it’s chill time with the fam before heading to bed around 9.

I’m still working on being 100% potty trained — I know, I know, but we all have our quirks, right? Sometimes I sneak upstairs to do my business (don’t tell on me!). I’ll sit for a treat… sometimes. Honestly, I’m not a big foodie, but I am big on love and being your best little buddy.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Okay with another dog with proper introduction.
- No children under age 6
- Active family
- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for Training
