Hi there. My name is Ruen, though my foster parents call me Rue, and I am a three year old Labradoodle girl weighing about 70lbs. I am sweet, smart, and so ready to find my forever family. I have a calm, gentle nature paired with a playful heart, and I love being part of a home where I can feel connected and included.

Tennis balls are my absolute favorite thing in the world. I love finding them, carrying them around proudly, and playing fetch any chance I get. I am wonderful with kids and other dogs, very patient, and naturally well mannered. I know all my basic commands and even a few extras, and I truly enjoy listening and doing the right thing. I will bark to let you know someone is at the door, but I stay right by your side until you let me know everything is okay.

I thrive on routine and structure. I wake up around six thirty in the morning and wind down for bed around ten at night. I sleep in my crate and know how to load up like a pro when it is time. I sit before meals, before going outside, and even before coming back in. I love walks, runs, and fetch time, and I am calm and settled in the house when it is time to relax. I also love car rides and ride very politely wherever we are headed.

I am pretty close to perfect, but I do have one silly habit. I think stealing scrunchies is a fun little game. I might sneak one and run off feeling very proud of myself, but I always drop it right away when asked. I am eager to please, highly responsive to training, and would love a family who enjoys routines, stays active, and continues helping me learn and grow.
