Hi! We’re Muffin and Ruby – 2-year-old, 16 pound Schnauzer mix sisters looking for our forever home! After DRR saved us from the shelter, we went to separate foster homes, but it was clear that we missed each other dearly. We were quickly reunited and placed into a home together, and have been inseparable ever since! We complement each other perfectly and thrive in the same home, so we will be adopted together! TWO sweet girls? Lucky you!
 
We are both very affectionate and love to cuddle and give kisses. Foster mom says we are "sweet as can be" and love every human we meet! While we are very calm, easy going girls, we are still young pups with a few puppy tendencies like chewing on things. We’re still learning, so a tidy home and someone who can encourage us to chew on toys instead of socks and cords is a must! Plush toys are a no-no, as we shred the pieces and try to eat them and the stuffing. We don't like being alone and need an adult home with us most of the time for company and a consistent potty schedule. We're both still working on potty training, but Ruby needs a little more work than Muffin.
 
We both get a little car sick (throwing up / excessive drooling), so frequent car rides are not a good idea. We’re great with other dogs (although we’ve only been around small dogs), so other dogs in the home is fine with proper introductions. We’re also crate trained (sleep in one larger crate together at night) and go in there with ease, as long as we’re together and given a yummy treat as a reward. We're very treat oriented!
 
Here’s what we're looking for:
- Yard with secure fence
- Stay-at-home parent(s) to continue potty training
- No children under 12
- A family with no dog hair/dander allergies. We do shed a bit!
