Hi! I’m Roxy, a sassy 4-year-old, 19lb Labradoodle. I do shed a little, and will need brushing and grooming.

There is nothing I love more than my human and I prefer not to share the attention with anyone else. I can be a little skittish at first and take time to warm up to someone new. But, once I do, I get very attached and will want to lay in your lap whenever possible. Noises (loud and faint) still scare me so I prefer to be in a quiet home. I’d make a great companion for a mom with a recently empty nest.

My days are pretty mellow. I’m a big fan of morning walks and do great walking and jogging on the leash. I also love spending time in the backyard. While I can’t jump fences, I’m always plotting my next escape. I eat twice a day, am crate trained, and leash trained. And while I like to retreat to my crate during the day from time to time, what I crave most is my human’s companionship. I don’t mind having a dog sibling, but I’d love to be in a home where I can be the only child.

While I’m still figuring out what toys are, I do love chasing around my human. I’ve had a rough past, but I’ve gotten a taste of the good life and I couldn’t be more excited to meet my forever human!
