Hi, I’m Rotini — a 2-year-old, 58-pound doodle with the kind of soft curls you just want to bury your hands in. I’m a gentle boy who absolutely loves hugs, and I’ll happily follow you from room to room just in case you’ve got one more to give.

I enjoy gentle play with my smaller foster brother, running a few zoomies in the yard, and exploring for bugs and lizards. Toys and treats are still new to me, but sunshine and grass are my happy places. Most of the day, though, I’m a low-energy kind of guy — content to lounge around once I’ve had my morning fun.

My days start with breakfast and a bit of backyard exploring, followed by a cozy nap. I’m walking really well on a leash now, so strolls are a great way to get me out and about, especially since I can still be a bit sensitive to loud noises. Evenings are for one last walk or romp, then I curl up in my kennel and sleep soundly through the night.
It’s taken me time to trust the world, but having another friendly, patient dog by my side has helped me feel safe and confident. I’ll need a dog sibling in my forever home — bonus points if they like to hang out close by, because that’s my comfort zone. I’m also doing well staying in my kennel for a few hours at a time now, especially with my buddy nearby.

I’ve learned some basic commands and love showing off how smart I am. I’m still working on confidence in new situations, so a home with patience and understanding will help me keep blossoming into my best self. I’d do well in a calm household with kids 15+ who know how to give me space when I need it, and I’ll thrive with someone who’s home often enough to give me the gentle consistency I’ve come to love.

- Calm household with children 15+
- Fenced yard
- Work-from-home or flexible schedule
- Patience for ongoing training and confidence building
