Ross‘s Story

Hello, I'm Ross. I became a part of DRR when I was just 3 years old, and recently, I celebrated my birthday on 12/23, marking me as a 4-year-old now. I'm commonly referred to as Lloyd, the name I respond to best. As a Male Goldendoodle, I'm a substantial Doodle weighing 87lbs, thanks to my foster's efforts in helping me shed some pounds from my initial 95lbs.

I'm a laid-back and relaxed guy who thrives on closeness with my person. Once settled, I'm content being on my own without constant supervision. I've been spending time with my foster siblings, who are quite small, so I'm careful and respectful of their space. Although I'm still mastering the art of bringing the item all the way back, fetch is one of my favorite games. I've also discovered a love for chewing bones and exploring a box of toys. My crate is my go-to spot for napping or alone time during the day.

I get excited about going for rides and make my enthusiasm known when my foster brings out the leash. I approach other dogs cautiously during walks but follow my foster's guidance. Baths are another favorite, and I've had enjoyable experiences at a special place my foster takes me to.

I start my day with my fosters, alternating between sleeping in their room or my crate. The morning routine includes going outside, having breakfast, playing fetch, and regular potty breaks. Dinner is at 5 pm, followed by settling in for the night. When the weather is pleasant, I enjoy a nightly walk. I am eager to learn and can't wait to join my fur-ever family!
