Hi, I’m Rosie! I’m a 35-pound Poodle mix with a gentle heart, and I’m searching for the person I can call my own.

I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a little patience and kindness, I promise it will be worth it. Once I trust you, I become the most loyal companion. I love being close to my person and will happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you while you work, read a book, or relax for the evening. Being near my favorite human is my happiest place.

I also have a fun, playful side! Give me a nice backyard and I’ll zoom around with pure joy before settling down for a cozy nap. Inside the house, I’m calm, sweet, and content just spending time with my family.

I’m potty trained, making great progress with crate training, and learning that being alone isn’t so scary. I feel most comfortable in my crate when my people are away and will need a patient family to continue building my confidence. I’m also improving on my leash manners every day and just appreciate a little extra time while I get comfortable.

I get along well with other gentle, easygoing dogs and would likely enjoy having a calm canine sibling to help me feel at home. Because I like to weave between people’s legs, I’d do best with children 8 years or older. Cats are still a mystery to me, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about sharing my home with one.

- Must have another dog sibling (Looking for a friend that is playful and patient)
- Children ages 8+
- No Apartments or shared walls
- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for Training
