Hi, I’m Roo! I’m about a year old, a 45-pound, non-shedding goldendoodle girl with long legs, a curious nose, and a heart that wants to be close to my people. I was found as a stray, so I’m still remembering what it means to be a proper house pup, but I’m catching on quickly.

Mornings are my favorite: I spring out of my crate, head straight outside, and then come in for breakfast before starting the day with my foster sibling. I’m a playful, energetic pup who loves fetch, exploring the yard, and settling in for snuggles once I’ve gotten my wiggles out. I’m tall enough to peek at what’s on the counters without even trying, and sometimes I forget my manners, but I’m working hard to learn commands and understand the rules.

During the week, I spend a few days in my crate while my foster mom is at the office, and I do well there. When she gets home, we head right back outside for another round of play or a nice long walk before dinner. At night, I’m happy curling up near you and soaking up all the attention I can get. I’m still a puppy, so I’m practicing better leash skills, keeping my paws on the floor, and remembering not to nibble on things that aren’t toys. I haven’t caused any real trouble, but I definitely need someone who’s patient, consistent, and ready to keep up with my training.

- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible Schedule
- Patience for training
