Rome is a 2-year-old Male Mini Goldendoodle that weighs 26lbs.

I have some pretty awesome “corks” about me. I like to play with stuff toys and to sit next to my favorite human and get lots of head rubs. My foster mommy calls me “Butt Butts” because I wiggly when I’m happy! She also laughs when she sees me run, as I gallop like a horse, but my foster dog brother is teaching me how to run like a dog. Overall, I am pretty chill, I do not bark and I enjoy playing chase and tug-a-war with my foster dog brother who looks just like me, only smaller! I startle easily, so please be patient with me. I do not like sudden movements or a loud noise. I do well in the car, but if I’m loose, I’ll want to sit in your lap, so for safety purposes I may need to be in a crate until I become a little braver. I am not treat motivated, but I do like positive reinforcement like “Good boy”. Lastly, I LOVE bath time, as I just sit and gives lots of licks!

Every morning I wake up around 7 am. I go outside to potty, then eat breakfast. After breakfast, I like play “take the toys” with my foster brother, follow my foster mommy around the house, and just relax. About 6 pm I am eat dinner, then go outside once more before I head to bed around 9:00 PM.

I am working on building my confidence, so a dog sibling that I can learn from will be helpful. I’m also learning how to trust humans, so expect me to be shy in the beginning, but I once I trust you…call me velcro because I’ll stick beside you 😁

- Must have another dog sibling - this will help build my confidence and learn.

- Patience for Training
