Hi, my name is Risotto. I’m a sweet 3-year-old female doodle mix, weighing in at around 35 pounds. I have a slim body and wouldn't mind putting on a few extra pounds! My fur is thick and delightfully soft.

I’m a sweet girl who’s excited to explore the world around me. I didn’t have a lot of socialization with kind humans before, but I’m working on coming out of my shell and learning to enjoy cuddles, pets, and toys. Food and treats are my absolute favorites, and I gobble up all my meals with no trouble at all!

Loud noises can be a bit scary for me, and I feel more comfortable if you kneel to my level when you want to give me some love. I’ve discovered that I enjoy going on walks and seeing all the birds and squirrels — it’s such an adventure! For a pup who hasn’t been walked much, I think I’m doing pretty well!

I start my day bright and early with my foster dog sisters! We head outside for a potty break, and then we all come back in for some lounging while my parents get ready for work. While they’re away, I hang out in my kennel to stay safe and out of mischief. When they come home, it’s potty time again, followed by a meal and a nice walk around the neighborhood. At night, I sleep in their bedroom on a big, comfy mat. I sleep soundly and don’t make a peep.

I have the potty training and leash skills, but I still need some time to figure out how to handle toys and new people. Additionally, I could use help building my confidence. Having a playful and confident dog sibling would assist me with that.
