Ralphie‘s Story

Hi guys, my name is Ralphie!!! I am 1 year and 9 month old labradoodle. I recently went to the worst place imaginable (THE VET!) and weighed in at a whopping 60 lbs. Doc said my weight was healthy! While I love giving kisses and snuggling up to my foster mom, I still have some puppy habits that are needing to be worked on. I sure hope my future parents have the patience and understanding when it comes to owning a puppy.

I came into foster care with my litter mate, who I’ve been with since leaving the breeders. DRR believes it is in my best interest to be separated from my brother due to pulling negative traits and habits out from each other when we are together.

I like to start my day bright and early with a full and happy belly from breakfast, then playtime. My favorite playtime includes running around in a large backyard and playing with my brother and foster sister. While I do like to play a lot, I also like to take naps just as frequently. Some would say I’m more lazy than active at times. I love to chase birds and even get teased by the squirrels that walk along the fence.

Since entering my foster parents home, I have done excellent in being potty and crate trained. While I prefer to be outside of my crate, the first few days of my new foster home my crate was my comfort zone. My foster mom said this is something my new forever family should expect until I become comfortable there.

The past few months I have spent my time with a trainer, which has included off leash and collar training. I will not only come with the exact collar used by my trainer but also the contact info for the trainer and future training for onsite and in home. My foster mom has all of the contact information needed to continue this training.

I recently was introduced to 4 children, ages 7-14. My favorite were the 14, 11 and 10 year olds. While the 7 year old was a bit to small for my liking.

I’m so excited to be meeting my forever family soon and I hope to get all of the love, cuddling and pets my heart desires!

Ralphie is fully vaccinated, HW-, sterilized and microchipped.
