My name is Raffy, and I am a five-year-old male Poodle mix weighing in at 64 pounds of pure sweetness. I am the kind of guy who is equally happy snuggled on the couch as I am tearing around the backyard, and I think that makes me pretty special.

I will be honest with you, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I decide you are trustworthy, I am a total sweetheart. I love following my humans around and just being wherever they are, because honestly you are my favorite place to be. My happiest moments include couch naps, chasing squirrels, getting the zoomies, and a good game of tug-of-war with my foster brother. I am basically the perfect mix of chill couch potato and goofy playful boy, and I think my future family is going to love that about me.

My day kicks off around 5:30 AM with breakfast and some fun morning playtime with my foster brother. My foster parents head off to work, and I am perfectly happy spending the day relaxing on the couch until they get back. Once they are home, I am ready to get outside, explore the backyard, and soak up the evening with my people. After I burn off my energy, I am more than happy to settle in and wind down for the night.

I am still learning to keep all four paws on the floor when I get excited to see my favorite humans, because sometimes the joy is just too much to contain. I am also working on settling myself back down after a good case of the zoomies. Building confidence with new people is something I continue to grow in, and I do best when I am given a little time and patience to warm up. With positive reinforcement and consistency, I make progress every day, and the right family will help me keep going.
