Hi there, my name is Putter, and I’m a 1 year old Poodle mix weighing about 38 pounds. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with great manners, a gentle heart, and just the right amount of playful energy, I might be your guy.

My foster family says I’m a true gentleman. I love people, adore other dogs, and enjoy spending time at the dog park where I can run, play, and make new friends. I’m not much of a barker and tend to be calm and easygoing around the house. Whether I’m carrying around a favorite ball, exploring the backyard with a stick, or curled up beside my people for cuddles, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with the ones I love.

I’m also a pretty respectful roommate. I don’t chew on shoes, leave clothes alone, and prefer to keep all four paws on the floor instead of jumping on furniture. I enjoy grooming, baths, walks, naps, and pretty much anything that involves being near my humans. I’m always excited when my family comes home and will patiently wait by the door for permission before heading outside.

Because I’m still a young dog, I’m looking for an active family who will include me in daily walks, playtime, and adventures. A fenced yard would be perfect for helping me burn off energy and continue building my confidence. I’m also still working on a few skills and would love a family that can be patient with my training and help me continue learning and growing into the very best version of myself.

I thrive on companionship and would do best with someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule, since I truly enjoy being part of my family's daily routine. While I’m sweet and gentle, I’m looking for a home with children over the age of 5 who can respect my space and help me feel comfortable as I settle in.

What I really want is a family to love with my whole heart. In return, I promise plenty of tail wags, loyal companionship, goofy moments, and a friendly face that will always be excited to see you walk through the door. Could I be the missing piece your family has been looking for? ❤️
