Hi, I’m Puma. I was born on October 5th and I’m one of Matcha’s Magnificent Eleven, the sports litter. My exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery, but based on my mom, I’m expected to have some poodle and retriever in me. I’m a mid-sized guy with a soft, longer coat that gives me a plush, teddy bear look and makes me especially nice to cuddle.

I’m a gentle soul who truly loves being held. The moment I’m picked up, I relax completely and melt right into you. I enjoy playtime, but I’m much more about connection than chaos. I like to explore and take in the world around me, always with a curious nose and thoughtful pace, and I’m quick to check back in for reassurance. I strike a sweet balance between independence and affection, and my favorite moments are the quiet ones when I can curl up in a lap and just be close.

My days follow a comforting routine that helps me feel safe and settled. I eat four meals a day at 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm, with plenty of play, exploration, and long puppy naps in between. I spend lots of time with my littermates and foster family, which is helping me learn good social skills and confidence. As I grow, my routine will change, but right now consistency is what helps me thrive.

I’ve already started learning how to use pee pads with my litter, which is a great start for a puppy my age. I’ll still need all the basics in my forever home, including house training, crate training, and learning daily routines. I’m eager to learn and do best with gentle guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement. With time, structure, and love, I know I’ll grow into a steady, sweet companion who is always ready to cuddle and connect.
