Hi there! I'm Poppy, a sweet and sometimes silly, 1.5 yr old, 30lb, Doodle gal who's still in touch with her puppy playfulness.

Are you looking for a shadow? If you are, then I’m your girl! I love to follow my foster mom everywhere. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and I'll impress you with my A+ leash manners. I don’t shed at all and I enjoy being brushed. I’ll even let you brush my teeth! I don’t mind my crate at night, but I’m much happier sleeping in bed with you. I’ll even steal your pillow if you’re not too careful! I’m VERY smart and showed Foster Mom my crate Houdini skills! Thankfully, I am a trustworthy, responsible girl, who just goes on "couch nap duty" when you leave. Squeaky toys are OK, but IMO nothing beats a good chew bone. I get along well with my foster fur sister, but I’d be happy as an only dog too. I can be a little skittish around men at first, but I’ve quickly adapted to sharing the home office with my foster dad as the perfect work-from-home assistant, lounging quietly nearby.

I’m well suited to apartment life and rarely bark so your neighbors wouldn’t even know I’m here! I can get up and go or hit the snooze button for some extra snuggles. I love exploring dog-friendly venues and being your co-pilot. Visits to the dog park are amazing and I'll show off my sprinting skills. I also like learning new skills: I'm currently working on sit, down, and even spin.

Truth is, I’ll be your furever BESTIE as long as you give me love.

- Must love velcro dogs
- No children under age 8
- Active family
- Patience for Training
