Hi, I'm Poppi! I'm an 18-month-old black Poodle Mix (my foster family thinks labradoodle!), weighing in at 33 lbs of pure love and charm. My name comes from the popular soda—how fun is that? When I first came to my foster family, I was a bit scared, but now I'm a total goofball, making them laugh with my "silent talk." I move my mouth like I'm talking, but no sound comes out—it's hilarious!

I'm a big fan of snuggles and would love nothing more than to curl up next to you, whether that's on a dog bed or on the couch. I sometimes forget about personal space because I just want to be close to my humans. Playtime is a close second to cuddles, and my octopus stuffy and a good game of fetch are some of my favorites. I even get along with my foster siblings—yes, even the grumpy ones can’t resist my charm!

Meal times are the highlight of my day. I love food SO much that I might remind you if you oversleep and I miss out on breakfast! I'm still learning the ropes of the world, but I’m eager to learn. I’m working on walking on a leash, and with the help of my foster siblings, I’m starting to enjoy it. I also love having a doggie door to come and go as I please—when I first arrived, I was nervous about going outside, but now it's my happy place!

I'm a bit shy with new people or things outside my home, but once I get to know you, I’m a loyal and loving buddy. I’m still learning commands and boundaries, but I’m smart and ready to continue growing. I never knew a happy home could be so awesome, and I can’t wait to find my forever family to share all my love with. Could that be you?

- Patience for Training
