Hi there! My name is Pimento Cheese, and at just 8 weeks old, I may be brand new to this world, but I've already got a lot of love to give. My foster dad says I'm as sweet as sugar, and honestly, I think he's right. I'm a handsome black doodle mix with a whole lot of heart, and I am ready to find the forever family who has been waiting for me.

Now, I have to be upfront about something important: I am not small. My foster mom always reminds me that I have big paws to grow into, which means I could turn into quite a large boy one day. For now, I love nothing more than romping around with my siblings, wrestling, playing tug, and then collapsing into the best, coziest nap you have ever seen. I know how to play hard and rest well, and I do both with my whole heart.

Speaking of hearts, mine is a big one. I am a curious, intelligent puppy who loves puzzles, exploring new things, and following my people around to see what fun is happening next. I may be spirited and adventurous during playtime, but when the day winds down, I am equally happy to curl up close to someone I love. I am a cuddle king through and through, and being near my people is where I feel most at home.

My days right now start around 7:00 AM with a morning hug, a potty break, and breakfast, followed by plenty of play and some very important napping. I still wake up once or twice overnight for a quick potty trip before settling back in to sleep, so my ideal family will have the flexibility in their schedule to be present for those early weeks of puppyhood. Bedtime is around 9:00 PM, and once I am settled in with my people nearby, I sleep like a champ.

I am still working on potty training, crate training, and leash walking, and things are going really well so far. What I need most is a patient family who understands that puppies learn at their own pace and that every small win is worth celebrating. I thrive with engagement, routine, and people who are around often, and I would love a home with an active lifestyle where I can join in on the adventures as I grow bigger and stronger. A confident, playful dog sibling would be a wonderful bonus, though it is not required as long as my home is full of love and movement.

Because of my size and those still-sharp puppy nails and teeth, I would do best with older children who can hold their own when I get excited and bouncy. I have not yet met any cats, so that remains to be seen. As for shedding, you can enjoy all the snuggles without worrying about the fur, because I shed very little to none at all.

I am a fun-loving, snuggle-obsessed, big-brained boy just waiting for the right family to share my big heart and even bigger paws with. Could that be you?
