My name is Phelps and I’m a very handsome, Male Bernedoodle. The humans think I’m 2-3 years old and I weigh 22 pounds.

I am a bit shy but I will be the best companion once I find my forever family. I currently live with two rowdy boys but I would prefer a quieter/calmer home with adults. I’m scared of loud noises but I never bark at the vacuum or doorbell.

Though it takes time for me to warm up, I’m nice to all humans and I find comfort with being with other dogs. My favorite time of the day is when I can cuddle on the couch or sit at your feet while you work.

I sleep quietly in my crate all night and don’t mind when the humans sleep-in on the weekends! I typically go on morning and evening walks, after I eat, and I’ve been told I’m great on the leash. I’ve made several puppy friends in my temporary neighborhood and I love to walk with them. When the humans leave the house, I’m really polite in my crate.

I love playing with groups of dogs and I’m starting to show interest in training. I haven’t found any dog treats I love but I’m obsessed with cheese.

I’m working really hard on potty training, but I occasionally have accidents. I do best with multiple walks, so I have plenty of time do potty outside.
