Peter‘s Story
Peter the Standard Poodle came to DRR on Easter Sunday, and he was 14 days old. He was bottle fed by his foster mom and has grown up being loved and cared for everyday!
Pete was 8 weeks old on June 2nd, and he weighs in at 12.5 lbs, he is going to be a big boy! The vet said he could end up somewhere between 60-80 pounds! This puppy is affectionate, playful and yes, just a little bit ornery. Peter is crate trained, rides well in a crate in the car, and is working on potty training. He will need an active family that has time to teach him manners and more! He would love to have a fur sibling that enjoys playing too! Finally, Pete would love to have kids in his life, but may be a bit much for very small children.
