Hi, I’m Penny! I’m a 5 year old female poodle and weigh 40lbs.

I’m the sweetest little girl you will ever come across! I want to be loved on and will lean into you for extra snuggles. I love to be wherever my foster mom is and quietly lay down close to her. I love snuggles but I’m not a diva and demand attention. My personality is so cute that you will want to snuggle and love on me all the time. I also have great manners in the house. I’m potty trained and a free eater, meaning that my foster mom leaves food out all the time so I can snack whenever I want. I’m such a good girl that I never need to be put in a crate and will lay right beside you in my own bed while you sleep at night. I’m a smart girl too! I know all kinds of commands! Sit, down, stay, leave it and even love to fetch ball. Whenever my paws are wet from being outside I will patiently sit a wait while you wipe off each paw. My foster mom thinks I have a calming sense about me because I’m so chill, calm and sweet.

If you are looking for a chill go with the flow pup, I’m your girl. To start my day I go out to do my business and smell around. I eat whenever I’m hungry and usually lay around watching whatever activity is going on around the house. I enjoy being outside in my backyard and love to just hang out and enjoy the day as long as someone is sitting out with me. I love to go on walks and light jogs now that my leg has healed! I even enjoy sniffing kids at the playground as long as unfamiliar dogs don’t come by. In the evening I chill on the couch with my foster and get in some good snuggles. My foster mom never has to crate me because I’m such a good pup!

I had surgery for a torn CCL but I’m doing great on my recovery. I’ve also been treated for heartworms and feeling so much better! I’m still working on leash walking. I do a good job except for when other dogs or squirrels come by. I also like to bark at people that walk by my fence when I’m outside and if any animals come on TV.

- Active family, able to take her for frequent exercise
- Household where people enjoy being followed by a loyal companion
- No Apartments or shared walls
- Fenced in Yard
- Flexible schedule
