Oliver‘s Story

Hey there humans!

My name is Oliver the Aussiedoodle, but my foster people (especially the little ones)call me “Ollie”. It has a nice ring to it IMO. I’m going on 8 months old, am a svelte 40lbs (this week), have wavy soft dark chocolate hair with white paws, hazel eyes, and a nose and tail to match.

I can be a shy guy at first especially when I meet new people..but once I know and trust you, I’m all yours.

My abilities at this young age are: being fully potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained!

My hobbies include long walks, racing around the backyard with my foster goldendoodle brother (sorry people, he is taken), and watching the boys in my foster family at soccer practice and games. I also like it when the littlest one reads books to me, so I feel like a well-rounded pup. My favorite book this week was “Eat Pete.” I think we read it 10 times one night. Ah well, it put me to sleep.

Also.. as a quick note, a talent I’m incredibly proud of is my ability to find things and herd them into a circle... then watch over them like a hawk. Stuffed animals, lego, clothes, shoes, a roll of wrapping paper, a piece of string, balls, you name it. My foster family thinks it’s cute as I don’t chew or destroy any of it.. just protecting my bounty.

Kids? Dogs? Car rides? All good! Cats... hmm.. I haven’t committed yet. If you are looking for something serious— no more short term relationships please- hit Doodle Rock Rescue up. My people will get with your people and we can see if it’s a match.

PS. My foster family thinks the world has gone mad that I am on the market for a new forever home. I think they will be heartbroken when I leave ?
