Hi! My name is Nova. I am a sassy 3-year-old, Female Poodle mix that weighs about 32lbs.

I am a very sweet lady that loves to go out on walks, exploring, playing catch and tug of war. On my walks, my foster mom says I sound like Peppa Pig because I snort when sniffing around and I love to smell everything. When people meet me, everyone always talks about my goofy smile and purplish tongue, they say I am sooo adorable and always want to know what I’m mixed with.
I can be a little anxious and require some time getting used to new environments and people, especially men and other animals. I like it when my foster mom walks with me to meet new people and introduce me. When there’s unfamiliar noises outside, I get scared and start barking to scare away the bad guys. I love people but just need time to get settled in.

I sleep in a crate sometimes, but my foster mom also lets me sleep in the room or in the living room because I’m a really good girl. My foster mom has turned me into an early bird(dog), so we usually wake up around 6 AM and then it’s potty time. If I’m feeling hungry, I will usually have breakfast in the morning and will take a nap meanwhile my foster mom works. At lunch time in the afternoon, we will go potty again and I get to go for a walk or play in the backyard. In the evening around 7, it’s dinner time and the last call for potty time is around 8PM.

I am still working on feeling 100% comfortable with all the noises and new people. We’re also working on learning new commands.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Children okay with proper introduction.
- No small animals
- No apartments or shared walls
- Fenced in yard preferred
- Flexible schedule or work from home
- Patience for training
