Hi, I’m Nike, and I’m one of Matcha’s boys born on October 5th. I’m a mid-sized pup with long legs and bright blue eyes that tend to stop people in their tracks. My breed mix is a bit of a mystery, but I likely carry some poodle and retriever from my mom, which might explain my thoughtful looks and gentle curiosity. I’m the kind of puppy who notices everything and wants to understand the world one step at a time.

I’ve picked up a few climbing tricks from my brother Asics and proudly became the third puppy to scale the gate, plus the first to attempt a late-night adventure on my own. I’m clever and curious, always testing boundaries in a soft, thoughtful way. My energy is pretty moderate, and I’m usually one of the last pups to finally call it a night after playtime. I absolutely love being held and will happily trot over to you and give my best “please pick me up” look when I want some extra affection. I enjoy people, explore with confidence, and have a calm, loyal presence that makes me easy to bond with.

My days follow a steady routine with four meals at 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm. Between meals, I balance playtime, exploring, and long puppy naps to recharge. I spend lots of time with my littermates and foster family, which helps me build strong social skills and confidence. I’m still growing, so my schedule will change over time, but for now, consistency helps me feel safe, secure, and happy.

I’ve already started learning how to use pee pads with my litter, which is a great start, but I’ll still need all the usual puppy basics in my forever home. House training, crate training, and learning daily routines will all be part of my journey. I’m eager to learn and do best with gentle guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement. With time and love, I know I’ll grow into a wonderful, well-mannered companion.
