Hi there, my name is Nelson, and I am SO excited to meet you! I am just eight weeks old and barely nine pounds, but do not let that fool you for even one second. I am absolutely bursting with life, and my foster mom likes to say I have the personality of a dog ten times my size. She is probably right.

My foster mom says that I like to talk. It's true. I am the first one of my siblings to tell you that it's time to potty or play. She thinks this will make me very trainable, something about being "outspoken" and speaking up for my needs. Anyway, I think I am just always up for everything. I love adventure. I love running in the yard with my big foster siblings. I love squeaky toys and puppy play mats. I really love toys that make me think and use my busy puppy brain! My foster mom thinks that makes me a smart doggie. I just know I like play, play, play!

I wake up every morning and go potty outside, have playtime, and then I head back inside for breakfast and a nap. Because I am still such a young baby, I pretty much continue this routine throughout the day. I need to eat, play, and sleep so I can grow up and be a strong boy!

I am still learning everyday when I wake up. I will need patience as I learn how to potty-train, learn commands, and walk on a leash. But, I am wise beyond my weeks so I think I will learn very quickly! I have been raised in a loving home with children and other friendly dogs, so I'm well on my way to being social and confident!

My forever home is someone looking for a chatty side-kick who will keep you laughing, active, and entertained. My puppy conversations and boundless zest for life will steal your heart!
