Hi, I’m Myra! I’m a 4-year-old fluffy love bug who is happiest when I’m snuggled up close to my person. My foster mom says I give the best cuddles, I adore belly rubs, and I’d gladly soak up affection all day long if I could. I’m the kind of dog who makes you feel like the center of my world, because, well, you are.

I’ve been told I’m a champion on the leash—I walk calmly right by your side and make every stroll a joy. At home, I settle easily into the routine: breakfast, outside time, a midday potty break, dinner, and another walk. I’ve never needed a crate here, but I’d likely do just fine with one if my new family wanted to use it.

Because I love my people so much, I can get a little protective of their attention. I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home so I don’t have to share all the love I’ve been waiting for. A calm household with a flexible schedule would be the perfect match for me, and since I like to “chat” when I’m excited for attention, I’d do best in a home without shared walls.

I’m still perfecting my potty training, but with consistency and routine, I do really well. Most of all, I’m just looking for someone who wants a loyal, affectionate shadow to follow them around, keep them company, and remind them every day how loved they are.

I do want to share something important with you—I’ve been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. But with the right medications and regular veterinary care, my condition is well-managed, and I’m able to live a happy, comfortable life. I take my meds like a champ, and I’m still the same sweet, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being with my people. My forever family just needs to be prepared to keep me on my treatment plan and help me stay at a healthy weight.

If you can give me that, I’ll spend the rest of my days showing you just how deep a dog’s love can be.

- Work from Home Parent
- Commitment to continuing prescribed treatment plan and veterinary care to manage pulmonary hypertension
