Hi! I’m Moose, a one-year-old doodle mix with a big heart, a bright mind, and a personality that turns everyday life into an adventure. I wake up each morning ready to have fun, learn something new, and make my people smile. I’m the kind of dog who loves being included in everything, whether it’s a hike, a long walk, a run, or even tagging along on errands. If you’re looking for a best friend who wants to be part of your daily routine, I’m already packed and ready to go.

I’m not just cute—I’m seriously smart, and training is one of my favorite things. I already know my basic commands like sit, down, and come when called, and I’m working hard on “wait” and “stay.” I’m currently working with a certified trainer and will be earning my AKC Good Citizen Certification soon. Give me a little guidance, some praise, and maybe a treat or two, and I’ll happily show you just how much I can learn.

When I’m not practicing my good manners, I’m all about playtime. I love fetch, chewing on my toys, and wrestling around with my foster dog siblings. Tug-of-war is my absolute favorite, and I’m always up for a game with a dog who’s just as playful as I am. I also love head scratches, belly rubs, and being close to my people as much as possible.

I adore kids, but I’m still learning how to keep my excitement under control when I’m playing, so I’d do best in a home with children over 10. I’m a gentle soul, but sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me because I just love being part of the fun.

I’m an early riser, usually up around 6am, ready to start the day. Breakfast is a big event for me, followed by playtime, a walk or run, and then I’m happy to settle in and keep you company while you work or relax. I’ll happily follow you from room to room, supervise your daily activities, and curl up nearby whenever I get the chance. Dinner is my second favorite part of the day, and I end my evenings with more play, cuddles, and love before bedtime around 9 or 10.

At night, I like being close to my people. I can sleep on my own bed, but I’d be thrilled to be invited onto yours, because snuggling is one of my greatest talents. More than anything, I’m an affectionate, eager-to-please boy who wants a family of my own—someone who will give me attention, structure, and lots of love.
