Hi, I’m Molly! I’m about 1.5 years old and weigh 50 pounds, and yes, I have a special Leap Day birthday! Being born on 2/29 makes me even more unique, don’t you think? While I might be a little shy at first, once I get to know you, I’m all about those head scratches, belly rubs, and snuggles. My foster mom says I’m the sweetest and most well-mannered girl—she can’t stop raving about how good I am!

I’m super curious and love exploring, especially when it involves sniffing around the backyard or working on my dog puzzles. I also really enjoy stuffed kongs, especially when there are treats inside! Right now, I’m taking it easy while I’m finishing up my heartworm treatment, but once I’m all healed, I can’t wait to run and prance like a little deer again.

For now, I’m happy just lounging around and soaking up all the love I can get. I sleep in my foster parent's room on a comfy dog bed, but sometimes I like to hang out in my kennel with a toy or bone for some quiet time. I’m very low maintenance and will happily settle in my kennel when my foster parents leave—safety first!

Potty time? I’m a pro. I don’t bark much, but I’ll gently stand by the door and wait for someone to open it. I eat twice a day, and while I don’t mind the schedule, I’m pretty flexible about the times.

I’m doing great, but one little thing I’m still working on is my submissive urination. The good news? It can totally be avoided! I just get a bit nervous with loud corrections or when new people come over—but if everyone stays calm and gentle, I do just fine. When guests ignore me at first, it really helps! I’m gaining confidence every day. Want to know more? Just ask my foster mom—she’s got all the tips!

I’d love to join a calm family, especially if they have another dog to keep me company and help me with my training. A work-from-home parent would be perfect, and I’d love to have a fenced yard so I can stretch my legs and regain my full zoomie potential! I’m good with kids over six, but I think I’d do best in a home without little ones. Can’t wait to find my forever family! 💛
