Hi, I’m Mochi! I’m a 5–7-year-old female poodle weighing about 15 pounds, and I’m a tiny girl with a whole lot of sweetness. I’m happiest when I’m curled up beside my person, keeping you company and soaking up all the love.

My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest little girls she’s ever fostered. I’m a true little shadow and love following my person from room to room, but I’m also comfortable relaxing on my own when you need to leave the house. I’m extremely quiet, low-energy, and happiest in a calm home where I can spend plenty of time with my people. I can coexist with other dogs, but I’d really prefer to be your one and only so I don’t have to share my food—or my favorite humans!

I’m an easygoing girl who happily adjusts to your routine. Early riser? I’m up with you. Like to sleep in? Even better. At night, I sleep quietly in my own bed next to yours. I’m potty trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and love leisurely neighborhood walks where I can stop and smell everything along the way. Otherwise, you’ll usually find me inside relaxing near my person.

I’m a wonderful companion, but I do have some boundaries. I don’t like other dogs near my food and can occasionally get grumpy about sharing attention, which is another reason I’d thrive as the only dog. I’m also not a fan of the crate, so I’d prefer a home where crating isn’t a major part of my routine. I need to remain on my special diet, so my future family should be committed to continuing it.

My ideal home will be calm and predictable, with no children under 6 and someone whose schedule allows them to be home more often than not. I don’t have separation anxiety, but being with my people is simply where I’m happiest. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, I may be your girl.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferably the only dog in the home
* No children under age 6
* Calm household
* Flexible schedule with someone home more often than not
