Hello, I’m Missy! I’m a 2.5 year old Aussiedoodle, about 38 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime. If you ever see me walking around the house with a ball in my mouth, just know I’m politely but very hopefully asking for a game of fetch. I have lots of energy and absolutely love long walks, backyard zoomies, and free running at the dog park. Because I thrive on activity, I’m looking for an active family who truly enjoys daily exercise and making their dog part of the fun.

Getting my energy out helps me feel my best. I would do wonderfully in a home with a fenced yard where I can safely run and play. Apartments or homes with shared walls would not be the right fit for me, as I can be vocal when I’m unsure about something. After I’ve had my exercise, I’m perfectly happy to relax nearby while you work or unwind, especially if belly rubs are involved.

I’m very devoted to my people and naturally like to keep an eye on things around the house. When everything feels calm, I’m affectionate, cuddly, and content. When someone new comes into my space, though, I can get a little anxious and bark because I’m trying to figure out if things are safe. I’m still learning to feel more comfortable with strangers and will need an experienced, patient adopter who can continue helping me build confidence with new people and situations. Clear guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help me continue to blossom.

My ideal home would be with someone active, experienced with dogs, and committed to ongoing training. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether we’re out exploring or relaxing together at home.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active family committed to daily exercise
- Kids older then 8 years old
- No Apartments or shared walls
- Fenced in Yard
- Patient and consistent with training
- Experience with dogs
