Hi! My name is Minnie Moo, and I’m a 2-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix weighing just 12 pounds. Not too long ago, I was found wandering as a stray, but now I’m soaking up all the love in my foster home while I wait for my forever family.

I may be little, but I have a big personality! I love to play, especially with my 45-pound foster sister. We chase each other around the backyard until we’re both ready for a nap. I have the perfect balance of playful and laid back. Outside, you’ll see my zoomies and silly side. Inside, I’m calm, sweet, and happiest curled up next to my people.

I’m a social little girl who loves everyone I’ve met, both people and dogs. I’d probably enjoy having another playful dog in my forever home, but more than anything, I just want a family to love. One of my funniest habits is carrying my toys around while wagging my tail and making the cutest little happy grunting noises.

I’m potty trained and do well going outside, but I’m still learning that potty time comes before playtime. If no one reminds me what I’m supposed to be doing, I can get distracted chasing bunnies, nibbling on grass, or sniffing every interesting smell in the yard. My foster family is teaching me to go potty on command, and I’m making great progress. I just need a family who will encourage me to take care of business before I start having fun.

I’m also a wonderful little companion. I love following my foster mom around while she works from home, and when I’d like a little attention, I gently place my paw on her hand. At the end of the day, you’ll usually find me snuggled on the couch, and if you’ll let me, I’d be thrilled to share your bed at night.

I don’t shed, I love bath time, and I’m perfectly happy with the hair dryer. I’m great in the car, walk nicely on a leash, and while squirrels and bunnies are very exciting, I’m easily redirected. I was comfortable in my crate when I first arrived, but now I have earned the freedom to spend my days playing and relaxing with my foster sister.

If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate little dog who will make you smile every day with her playful spirit, sweet snuggles, and funny little noises, I would love to meet you. I can’t wait to find the family I’ve been dreaming of.
