Hi there! I'm Mei Mei, a 10-month-old female poodle mix. A lady never reveals her weight, but let's just say I'm a perfect 15.5 pounds of cuteness!

I thrive on human affection and will give you all the love and affection you can handle. Having a playmate (dog brother or sister) would be lovely so they can show me the ropes.I like to eat, play, nap, sit in the sun, snuggle and be anywhere my favorite people are. I'm not a guard dog but I will sure alert you to anyone outside.

I like squeaky toys or toys that make crunchy sounds and balls too. To be honest, sometimes I’ll chew on things that aren’t toys but with guidance and redirection I’m learning appropriate behavior.

I wake up at 6 am with my foster dad and he takes me and my foster brother out to do our business. I don’t typically do anything because I’m too busy being excited to start the day. We eat our morning meal and then my mom takes me back outside and by that time I’m ready to do my business. During the day my foster brother and I play off/on and nap off/on. Our last meal of the day is between 2-3 pm followed by more play time, then bed time is 8-9 pm. I hang out with my foster parents on the bed (because they want me to) for a bit and then they put me in the crate by their bed where I don’t fuss and I don’t mind sleeping next to them in the crate.

I am not a fan of being in the crate during the day if you are not at home (separation anxiety and FOMO) but I won’t fight you if you need to put me in there for a little while, that is. If you’re home during the day or at bedtime I’m fine in the crate. And speaking of a crate, you will need a durable one because I am resilient and have been known to be Houdini-like and bust out of one that’s not sturdy. My foster mom was working on potty training me but I haven’t fully grasped it yet but with patience and time I know I will. I am mischievous and am still learning boundaries.
