Hi! My Doodle Rock name is Maylee, but I much prefer Marley. I’m a beautiful 4-year-old Poodle mix weighing about 60 pounds, and while I may be full-sized, I have the gentlest heart you could ever meet.

My journey hasn’t always been easy. I came to rescue in rough shape after showing up at a kind stranger’s door asking for help. I was underweight, scared, and unsure of the world. Thanks to lots of love and patience, I’ve blossomed into the sweetest, most loyal girl, and now I’m ready to find a forever family of my own.

I’m a quiet, calm soul who enjoys the simple things in life. I love leisurely walks, relaxing on the patio, cozy naps in my donut bed, and carrying my favorite toys from room to room. I recently discovered how much fun toys can be, and I’ve even started wrestling with my foster sister! It’s been so much fun learning how to just be a dog.

I’m very well-mannered and eager to please. I’m potty trained, have wonderful leash manners, and know how to sit, shake, and fetch. I’m patient while waiting for meals, treats, and my leash, and I’ve been a favorite at the groomer because I’m such a good girl. I sleep peacefully through the night on the floor beside my foster mom, usually cuddling one of my favorite toys.

I get along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and ages and have a kind, easygoing nature. Cats are still a mystery to me, but I’m friendly with everyone I’ve met. I’d love a home with a fenced yard where I can enjoy leisurely potty breaks and soak up the sunshine, though my exercise needs are modest. A nice walk and a little playtime are all I need before I’m ready to relax by your side.

I only have one funny little quirk—I think toilet water tastes pretty good if someone forgets to put the lid down! My foster mom says she’d rather I didn’t, so keeping the lid closed solves that problem.
