Please READ the bio and adoption requirements first to make sure you are a perfect fit BEFORE APPLYING.

Hi, I’m Marli! I’m a 2-year-old, 13-pound Mini Goldendoodle with a gentle heart, a sweet spirit, and a whole lot of love packed into my little body. I’m looking for a family who wants a true companion, because being close to my people is where I’m happiest. If you’re looking for a little shadow who will quietly follow you from room to room and always save you a spot beside her, I might be your girl.

I’m crate trained, potty trained, and appreciate a predictable routine that helps me feel safe and settled. My mornings start with a trip outside and breakfast, and from there, I’m perfectly content just being part of whatever my family has planned. Working from home? I’ll keep you company. Moving around the house? I’ll probably be right behind you. Settling onto the couch after a long day? Now you’re speaking my language.

As much as I adore my humans, I’ve discovered that having a friendly canine companion is pretty special, too. During my time in foster care, having another dog around has helped me feel more comfortable and confident. I really enjoy having a furry friend to share my days with, so I’d love a forever home where I can have both my people and a canine buddy by my side.

I enjoy neighborhood walks, exploring the backyard, curling up for cuddles, and spending time with calm, respectful kids. Because I’m a sensitive girl who sometimes needs a little space and quiet to recharge, a home with children 10 or older would be the best fit for me. Older kids are more likely to understand when I’m ready for affection and when I’d rather have a peaceful spot to myself.

I can also be shy when meeting new people, and lots of unfamiliar faces coming and going can feel a little overwhelming. I’d be happiest in a low-traffic home or with a naturally calm household where life is a bit more predictable. Give me some patience, kindness, and reassurance, and I’ll have the chance to warm up on my own terms. Once I feel safe and trust you, my affectionate personality really starts to shine.

My dream home is on the calmer side, with a fenced yard where I can safely explore, a friendly dog companion to help me feel confident, and a family who sees their dogs as true members of the family. A flexible schedule would be wonderful, too, because I form strong bonds with my people and would much rather spend my days with you than away from you. I don’t need constant excitement or grand adventures—I’m happiest with the simple things: a walk around the neighborhood, a little backyard time, a dog friend nearby, and my favorite humans within reach.

More than anything, I’m looking for a family who understands that a sensitive heart sometimes just needs a little patience and a peaceful place to land. Give me security, companionship, room to breathe when I need it, and plenty of love, and I’ll give you my whole heart in return.

I’m Marli, and I’m ready to find the people—and hopefully a furry best friend—I get to love forever.
