Hi! My name is Margot. I turned 1 on March 25th! I am a Female Goldendoodle and at my last check up I weighed 38lbs. I do not shed and my coat is so soft.

My life started out a little rough, but I am starting to learn the good life. My foster mom describes me as timid, but so sweet. I warm up when you are calm and patient with me. I am skeptical to come when you call me, but once I’m there I love being petted and having my belly rubbed! I love playing with tennis balls and squeaky toys. I will go chase them, and then run off and hoard all the toys! I sometimes mistake socks for toys, but I’m learning. New places and new people can be a little scary for me. My favorite thing is playing with my foster brother. I love any animal I meet, especially my cat sister. She is soooo interesting to me, but sometimes I overwhelm her. I love my foster dad, but sometimes I bark when he comes in the room. Once I realize it’s him, I calm done quickly. I can be a little more timid of my foster teenage brothers. They are so nice, but they can scare me. I prefer a very calm environment.

I usually get up around 7am and go outside and do my business. I LOVE being outdoors, so I can sometimes be hard to get back inside. I like to stand at the back door, but hesitant to come back inside. I’m doing good on potty training when I’m kept on a schedule. I like going on walks, but I’m still a little timid on the leash, but I’m getting brave and improving! I easily go into my crate and don’t make a noise when my foster parents both leave. I would love to go to a calm and patient home to help me thrive and become the best dog ever and I would really love a dog friend to play with!
