Lupin‘s Story

Lupin is a sweet 5-year-old, 49-pound Parti Poodle ?. He was named after Remus Lupin, a werewolf in the Harry Potter series! While Lupin can let out a great howl every once in a while, he is a very even-tempered guy. He can be a bit cautious but loves attention once he gets to know you! He tends to pick one person to love a lot and loves everyone else just a little less ?. He follows his foster mom around and takes any chance he can get for pats and attention. He is perfectly sweet with other dogs of all sizes and is fine with kids as well. Lupin is eager to please and observant, so he picks up on tricks very quickly! He loves to be outside and roll around in the grass. He LOVES treats of all varieties but hasn’t quite figured out what toys are or what to do with them. He walks very well on a leash and stays by your side; he only pulls when he sees another pup ? Lupin (also referred to as Loopers) is good in the car and will lay down in the back seat but does better when someone sits with him. Lupin is still learning to adjust to being in a kennel. He prefers to be able to see his “person” and is taking a bit of time to adjust, but he will get there! His foster family has recently begun leaving him in a room with other dogs and this seems to really help with separation anxiety. Lupin really is the most even-tempered and sweet guy. He is learning to love laying on the couch and lounging with the family. Lupin is very loved by his foster family and they just know he would make a wonderful addition to any home!
